Hi everyone.
When you first start a blog you have certain ideas about what you think and want to happen on a blog, after a month or maybe even a year you might find that it does not quite work that way or your focus might have shifter.
So I am launching a new site also called Sigsveldt, this time I'm hosting it on tumblr. The reason for this is I find my self focusing more on photography and not so much on the wise words that go with it.
Tumblr also enables me to post easier from a mobile platform.
I will not be closing down this site. I still plan on using it for some post, just the greater majority of my posts will be on tumblr.
Thank you.
Sigsveldt.

To blog or not to blog
Ok, I am guilty as charged. Sorry for not blogging recently but I have been really busy. I'll get to it. I promise . Thanks for understanding, and if you don't understand, tough shit.

Spring on the Sunny(er)side of life.
Is it just me or have all the trees gone lumo green? Here is my humble opinion about it: I think nature had a get-together like an annual general meeting. At this meeting it was desided that winter was a cold hearted bitch this year, she might even be called an ice queen and to celebrate the fact that winter is over they are going to have a party, or as it is known in Sunnyside a "hoe-down". To prepare for this "hoe-down" all the plants put on their party dresses.
Enjoy.

The Dutch Have Two Words for Design
"In Holland, we have two words for design. One is vormgeving; in German formgeben. And the other word is ontwerpen; in German entwurf. In the Anglo-Saxon language there’s only one word for design, which is design. That is something you should work out. Vormgeving is more to make things look nice. So for instance, packaging for a perfume or for chocolate in order to make things fashionable, obsolete and therefore bad for society because we don’t really need it. While ontwerpe means, and the Anglo-saxon word, but its stronger, means engineering. That means you as a person try to invent a new thing—which is intelligent, which is clever, and which will have a long-life. And that’s called stylistic durability. It means you can use it for a long time."

excursion to 70 juta street, braamfontein, jozi.
This post should be read in conjunction with this one >> Saturday morning in Jozi.
All that I feel like saying on this lazy Sunday morning about 70 Juta st is, I take my hat off to "the talented young" who are willing to suffer for what they believe in and I respect and admire the way they approach life.
The detail and effort that goes in to everything is amazing, I hope the every-man on the street picks up on this.
Thank you all, it's a pleasure visiting Braamfontein.

Okay, so you want to know what is so appealing about a toilet sign. It's not the sign, it's the tile. We have been meaning to redo our kitchen and my wife loves these tiles about as much as she loves me and here collection of Diana Cameras.
The coolest Coffee shop in Juta Street: great food, great coffee, great staff.
As you can see below, they where extremely busy on Saturday morning
