ELEMENTAL LIVING

Elemental living is a furniture range by two architects, Jonathan Coppin and Scott Dergance.

The range consists of seating, tabels and storage solutions. The one item that caught my eye is the Ilex Lounge Chair and Ottoman. If a furniture piece makes you look twice, its already made an impression.

This piece made its way right in to my library. here is what the designers have to say about it.

"Designed using two balanced bent forms - one for the seat and one for the legs - this chair establishes a simple yet dynamic presence.  Every angle, dimension, and material was painstakingly crafted to produce a chair that you simply won't want to get out of. The molded plywood frame and bent steel legs flex together to provide a firm, yet comfortable feel, while the plush, form-fitting cushion allows you to sink in and relax."
